Born in Margao, Saviour Gama was picked by FC Goa in 2017 and sent to their developmental teams to hone his skills. He made his Hero ISL debut in the 2018-19 season. He did play his part in the Gaurs’ League Shield-winning campaign the next season. However, 2020-21 Hero ISL proved to be his coming-of-age season as he heavily participated for FC Goa. His good performances also earned him a place in the AFC Champions League squad and he featured in quite a few matches.
