Born in Barcelona, Albert Serran is a product of RCD Espanyol's youth system. After starting with their B team, Serran eventually broke into their senior side in 2007. After a three-year spell with Swansea City from 2008 to 2011, Serran went on to play for several clubs in Cyprus, Spain, Albania and Hungary. During his time at Albania, Serran played in the UEFA Champions League Qualifying for FK Kukesi in 2017. He was a massive part of the Bengaluru’ title-winning squad last season and will be intent on recreating the success this term too.
