Sumit Rathi was part of the Indian Arrows set-up before joining ATK FC ahead of the 2018-19 season. The Uttar Pradesh-born centre-back had a dream debut season in Hero ISL 2019-20 with ATK FC as he won the Emerging Player of the League award as well as the prestigious trophy. Rathi signed a three-year contract with ATK Mohun Bagan ahead of Hero ISL 2020-21.
