Samad Mallick began his football career with Kolkata-based club Rainbow AC, before joining East Bengal FC in 2015. The defender has been with the club since, making his Hero I-League debut in 2016 against Sporting Club de Goa. He has made 50 appearances for the club, and has also been included in the club’s Hero ISL roster for the 2020-21 season.
