Defender Samad Ali Mallick plays for Punjab and has taken part in the majority of the side's I-League games in 2020/2021, making eight appearances overall and accumulating 592 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in six of these appearances across their 15 fixtures and come on as a substitute on two occasions. The last league game that Mallick played came on March 15 for Punjab versus TRAU; a game that he played 52 minutes in during a 1-0 defeat. This season he has registered one I-League assist.
