A product of Shillong Lajong FC’s famed academy, Novin Gurung made his first team debut with the club back in 2017. The full-back established himself as a regular in the 2017-18 season, as he made 19 appearances for the club across all competitions. Following Shillong Lajong FC’s relegation at the end of the 2018-19 season, he earned himself a move to Real Kashmir FC. Gurung made 11 appearances for the Snow Leopards during the 2019-20 Hero I-League season and helped them keep four clean sheets.
