Chennaiyin FC's Sarthak Golui has not appeared in a high proportion of the club's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making 10 appearances overall and accumulating 498 minutes of playing time. He has started in five of these appearances across their 23 fixtures and been used off the bench on five occasions. Golui last made an appearance in a competition game on April 9, playing 60 minutes for Chennaiyin FC versus NorthEast United FC in a 2-1 success. He has been booked three times. In last season's Indian Super League, Golui played in 13 games for East Bengal FC and scored one goal. Golui moved to Chennaiyin FC on loan in August 2023 from East Bengal FC, for whom he has made 18 league appearances in total, scoring two goals, after joining the club in August 2022 from Bengaluru FC.
