Hendry Antonay began his football journey for the academy sides of Ozone FC and Pune FC. He was the captain of the U-15 team for former Hero I-League club Pune FC. Hendry was at the Pune FC academy for almost two years and was then called into the Indian set-up in 2015 after the selection trials in Mumbai, where former coach Nicolai Adam spotted him. Hendry represented the Indian team during the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup that was hosted by India. He signed for Chennaiyin FC in January 2018 and played for their B side. After joining Indian Arrows and playing for the first team in the 2019-20 Hero I-League season, he became a part of Odisha FC’s squad ahead of Hero ISL 2020-21 and went on to feature in 11 games.
