Kima began his career in Mizoram with Chanmari FC before joining DSK Shivajians’ youth setup in 2015. He played for the club's youth academy and also played for the senior side during the 2016 Durand Cup. His debut season in the Hero ISL was with Jamshedpur FC in the 2017-18 campaign. He joined Bengaluru before the 2018-19 campaign but turned up only once for the Blues in their final league stage match against his former club Jamshedpur, which Bengaluru lost 5-1.
