A product of the Tata Football Academy, Balmuchu made his Hero ISL debut in the 2016 season with FC Goa and was solid without being spectacular. He was a part of the Jamshedpur side during the first half of Hero ISL 2018-19, but moved to Mumbai in the January transfer window.
