Sobrosa has smoothly integrated into the defensive backline of the Gaurs having previously represented several I-League clubs from Goa like Vasco SC, Sporting Goa and Salgaocar. The veteran defender began his career in 1999 in Brazil with Santo Angelo and went on to represent several Brazilian sides before making his transition to India in 2007 with Vasco. Sobrosa’s familiarity with Indian conditions made him a good coup for FC Goa last year. He notched up seven appearances for FC Goa and will be looking to feature more frequently for the Gaurs in Hero ISL 2016.
