Augustin Fernandes is a ball-playing center back who began his career at Sesa Football Academy in Goa. Fernandes is well known for his game reading and ball-playing abilities. He was part of Hero ISL outfit ATK in 2015 and was later loaned to FC Pune City. Augustin made his international debut for India on 12th November 2015 against Guam. The veteran defender was roped in by Jamshedpur for the second half of Hero ISL 2018-19 season and impressed enough to earn himself a contract extension with the club.
