Bio
John James Johnson is a graduate of the Middlesbrough youth academy. After making his debut against Chelsea FC, he was loaned off to first division sides, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town. Johnson made the switch to Bengaluru FC in 2013-14 and established himself as one of the finest defenders in Indian football over the next few years, winning multiple trophies with Bengaluru FC and helping them reach the 2017-18 Hero ISL final. He made a big switch to rivals ATK in 2018-19 but had a disappointing season with the Kolkata-based side, which finished sixth in the league. The Englishman will be looking for a better campaign this term
