Saikhom Singh graduated from the East Bengal academy back in 2018-19. Following which, he was inducted into the Hyderabad FC reserves side for the Durand Cup, but never made it to the starting XI. SC East Bengal roped in the defender as their third developmental player ahead of the ISL 2021-22.
