Nikhil Prabhu, the Punjab FC midfielder, has taken part in every one of the team's three Indian Super League games in 2024/2025, having been selected in the starting XI in all three. The last Indian Super League appearance that Prabhu made came on September 25 for Punjab FC against Hyderabad FC; a game that he played 90 minutes in during a 2-0 win. Punjab FC are on the road at Bengaluru FC on October 18 the next time the team are in Indian Super League action. In last season's Indian Super League, Prabhu featured in 20 games for Punjab FC and scored one goal. Prabhu moved to Punjab FC in July 2023 from FC Goa, for whom he made two league appearances in total.
