The young Czech junior international centre-back started playing football at Viktoria Plzen. In 2007, he moved to Slavia Praha and played a Champions League game. He has wide European experience having plied his trade in Holland (NEC Nijmegen and Veendam), Ukraine (FK Metalurh Donetsk and Simferopol SK Tavrija) and Denmark (Brøndby IF), finally landing up at the Bulgarian club Levski Sofia.
Pavel Cmovš had an action packed Season 1 in the heart of Mumbai’s defence. He made 13 appearances and was booked twice while seeing red against NorthEast United in a 2-0 home loss. Cmovš remains an important part of Mumbai’s defence and will hope to improve his and the team’s performance this time round.
