Tata Football Academy graduate Abhishek Das signed for Kolkata giants East Bengal in 2010. The right-back was then loaned out to Pailan Arrows (earlier AIFF XI) and later to United Sikkim where he gained plenty of playing experience before East Bengal recognised his proficiency and inducted him into the senior squad in 2011.
He was part of the India under-23 team which took part in the 2012 Olympic qualifiers. Das has been a part of the Super Machans fold from Hero ISL 2014, making this his third season with the southern giants.
