Mumbai City FC striker Sunil Chhetri wants his team to start from where they had left off against Delhi Dynamos FC when they play table-toppers FC Goa in the 2015 Hero Indian Super League [ISL] at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday evening.Mumbai, who currently prop the table on four points from four matches, tasted their first win of the season when they beat Delhi 2-0 earlier this week and Chhetri led from the front scoring both goals. Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the India striker stressed the importance of keeping up the good work.“We are really happy to get the win [vs Delhi]. Before last game, we had played three games. We drew one and lost two and we were kind of under pressure, to be very honest. But thank God everyone gave a reaction which was very, very important.“More than the goals it was good to see everyone fighting. I have always believed that if the team comes together and the players, like we have done, fight results will come. Thank God that we got the result also. It is very important that we keep it up.“We learned from the last game what we did right and we have to continue it. And the few mistakes we have had, the coaches are going to work on it and we are going to rectify them. That’s the way forward for us,” Chhetri told reporters.Chhetri, playing his first ISL, also admitted that playing in front big crowds was bringing out the best in players. “It acts as a motivation to be honest… At the end of the day when the player gets on the field, he wants to play and will do whatever he knows. But yes, if you know that the stadiums are packed and everyone in the country and abroad are watching you, it acts as an added motivation. It is not a pressure, it’s enjoyable. As a player you want to play for the fans. You want people to come and Chennaiyin FC but have enjoy,” he said.Meanwhile, Oscar Bruzon, Mumbai’s assistant coach, said the game against Goa will test them but their aim will be the same as the one against Delhi and that was winning.“Very tough game. We are playing with the leaders of the ISL. They are doing a very good work in the first few games. But I think in the last game they were losing a bit of their freshness. We need to keep up our momentum.“Last week we were playing the leaders [Delhi were joint-leaders with FC Pune City] and we had a very nice game. This week we are playing the new leaders and we will have to have the same attitude…So from tomorrow, we want to be back on track.”
