Jamshedpur FC’s new signing Rafael Crivellaro is looking forward to getting on the field for his new team as he looks to help the team have a stronger second half of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season. 

Crivellaro was a key player for Chennaiyin FC over the years helping them reach the Hero ISL 2019-20 final. He has scored eight goals and has provided nine assists in the 28 matches he has played in the league and is one of the top attacking midfielders the league has ever seen. 

Jamshedpur FC will be hoping he is the spark that their campaign needs after the club have picked up just one win in their nine matches so far. 

Crivellaro spoke to the Jamshedpur FC media team ahead of the match against Bengaluru FC.

How do you feel about being at Jamshedpur FC? 

I am very glad and very happy to join the team. I am very motivated to join the team. I am very happy about the head coach, players and staff. Everything has been perfect till now. 

Are you excited at the prospect of getting regular minutes here? 

I went a long time without playing, so it's always difficult to come back and play as before. But I'm sure with the minutes in my legs and the game time, I will become better and better and I will be able to help the team. 

Do you think the team is now going to kick on now after positives from the last match? 

Yes, that is the plan. I came here to help us as much as I can and try as soon as possible to take the points and positive results. 

How eagerly are you looking forward to performing in front of Jamshedpur FC fans? 

I am very excited to play against FC Goa. As a player, I have always felt it is very difficult to play against Jamshedpur FC at home, so I am looking forward to this day.

Do you think it will be a tough outing against Bengaluru FC? 

Of course, it is always difficult to play there. But I think we can have a positive result there. 

Any message to the fans? 

I just want you to keep supporting the team. We need that support and I think we can become better day by day. We are working very hard. The team is working very hard and I'm looking forward to helping the team and giving some happiness to the fans.
