Delhi Dynamos FC head coach Harm van Veldhoven was disappointed at dropping points to NorthEast United FC after his side were held to a goalless draw in New Delhi tonight. But at the same time he was happy that his side did not lose and were able to maintain their unbeaten record in the Hero Indian Super League. However, the Dutch gaffer is more concerned about how the team is working and whether it is able to maintain its balance or not and he is giving chances to various players to find the right balance. “The most important thing for me is how the team is working; there are some times when the team is not working and there is no balance; so it’s not only creating the chances but also having the balance in your team,” he maintained at the post-match press conference.Van Veldhoven also admitted that the team could have fared much better than it did today. “There is room for improvement in some areas of the team. I felt that we had a lot of possibilities to win this match. I do not want to talk about the negatives but I also think we can do much better,” he said. The Dutchman emphasised that he was going to fight for a spot in the top four and take the battle to every team in the league. “I see a lot of spirit in the eyes of the players and also a lot of potential so we’re aiming for the maximum,” he declared.Hero of the match Hans Mulder revealed that he was talking to Bruno (Arias) before the match about the number of NorthEast fans in the stadium. But by half-time, there were quite a lot of Delhi fans so it was a really good experience, he felt.Commenting on the spirited show put up by the NorthEast side, the Dutch midfielder said, “We already knew that they have a lot of energy and a lot of good players and they like to press. They started the game really well and were very difficult to counter and they played really well.”
