Pragyan Gogoi parted ways with NorthEast United FC; Lalliansanga Renthlei and Deven Sawhney left Odisha FC.

Indian Super League (ISL) outfit NorthEast United FC have mutually parted ways with midfielder Pragyan Gogoi, the club announced on Friday via their social media handles. Gogoi became the third player after Ibson Melo and Yaser Hamed to leave the Highlanders in the winter transfer window.

Since joining NorthEast United FC in 2020, Gogoi has played 43 matches for the Highlanders across different competitions. He has been featured in six ISL games and four Durand Cup games under their Spanish head coach, Juan Pedro Benali.
Hailing from Assam’s Sivasagar district, Gogoi began his youth career with I-League side Shillong Lajong. Later, he joined Kerala Blasters FC’s U-18 side and was later promoted to their reserve side, leading them to their first-ever Kerala Premier League title in the 2019–20 season.
Parthib Gogoi penned a heartfelt message on his elder brother’s departure from NorthEast United FC. Significantly, both Gogoi brothers have played together for the Highlanders since the ISL 2022–23 season.
“Kaka (brother), thank you for being an amazing mentor to me. I’ve always looked up to you, and playing football with you has been a dream come true. I hope we’ll get the chance to play together soon,” Parthib shared on his brother’s departure.
Lalliansanga Renthlei joins Gokulam Kerala FC on loan
Midfielder Lalliansanga Renthlei has joined Gokulam Kerala FC on loan from ISL side Odisha FC, the club confirmed on Saturday.

Renthlei kicked off his career at the AIFF Elite Academy as a promising young talent from Mizoram. He has played for Chennaiyin FC reserves and then represented Indian Arrows, Sudeva Delhi, and Rajasthan United prior to joining Odisha FC. The 24-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Kalinga Warriors.
Known for his versatality, Renthlei will be determined to secure more playing time under his belt during his time with Gokulam Kerala FC for the remainder of the season.
Deven Sawhney leaves Odisha FC to join Dempo SC
Young defender Deven Sawhney has left Odisha FC and joined I-League 2 side Dempo SC, the club announced on Saturday.

The 22-year-old defender got the opportunity to train at Aspire Academy in Qatar during his time with Odisha FC. He made his ISL debut against Chennayin FC back in the 2021–22 season. However, the youngster has struggled for game time since then.
