Dream11 MVP of the Week:

Igor Angulo (FC Goa) – 94 Dream11 points

With two goals in four minutes on his league debut to rescue a point in FC Goa’s season opener against Bengaluru FC, Spanish striker Igor Angulo announced his arrival in the Hero ISL. The forward was heavily involved over the course of the 90 minutes, managing to direct all his three shots in the game on target and had a match rating of 8.25. Goa will face Mumbai City FC next, and Angulo will fancy his chances of finding the back of the net again keeping in mind how attacking Islanders’ head coach Sergio Lobera’s teams tend to play, leaving them vulnerable at the back.

Key performers from Week 1:

Tiri (ATK Mohun Bagan) – 69 Dream11 points

Making his debut for ATK Mohun Bagan against Kerala Blasters FC in the season opener of the 2020-21 campaign, Tiri was among the best players on the pitch. The Spaniard, who is playing in his sixth Hero ISL season, finished with a match rating of 7.58 against the Kochi-based giants, and was very strong defensively. In addition to his 21 clearances, Tiri also had a passing accuracy of 75% and made two blocks.

Cleiton Silva (Bengaluru FC) – 69 Dream11 points

The Brazilian forward announced himself in the Hero ISL by scoring the first half goal for Bengaluru FC against FC Goa. Known for his goal-scoring ability, Cleiton put his side ahead in the 28th minute and had a match rating of 7.69 for the game. In addition to his goal, Silva also created two chances for his side and helped out defensively with a successful tackle, one clearance, an interception and a block.

Hero ISL Dream11 recruiter: Players to look out for

In addition to the abovementioned players, here are a few names to look out for in week 2 of Hero ISL 2020-21.

Dylan Fox of NorthEast United FC vs Kerala Blasters FC, November 26

Week 1: 68 Dream11 points

Australian defender Dylan Fox enjoyed a strong debut for NorthEast United FC against Mumbai City FC, helping the Highlanders to a clean sheet as well as a win. The centre-back commanded a strong passing accuracy of 95% and finished with a match rating of 7.87. In addition to his four clearances, he was also heavily involved in the build up to the goal, winning the penalty which was eventually converted by Kwesi Appiah. Like against Mumbai, his defending will be crucial when NorthEast take on Kerala Blasters FC on Thursday.

Roy Krishna of ATK Mohun Bagan vs SC East Bengal, November 27

Week 1: 59 Dream11 points

Roy Krishna scored his first goal for ATK Mohun Bagan in their league debut against Kerala Blasters FC. The Fijian striker had a player rating of 7.47 and was unlucky to score just once. When completely match fit, stopping Krishna won’t be easy, keeping in mind the talent in ATK Mohun Bagan’s squad. Having etched his name in the history books as the Mariners’ first-ever goal-scorer in the Hero ISL, it won’t be surprising if he is also the first to score a derby goal in the league when ATK Mohun Bagan play against SC East Bengal on Friday.
