Thoiba Singh signs new Odisha FC contract until 2029
The Odisha FC defender has committed his long-term future to the club, signing a new deal to continue in black and purple until 2029.

Thoiba Singh Moirangthem has signed a new contract with Odisha FC, committing his future to the club until the end of the 2028-29 season, the Indian Super League (ISL) side confirmed on Thursday.
After a challenging 2023-24 campaign where he saw limited action, the centre-back made a strong return in 2024-25, breaking into the starting line-up ahead of Narender Gahlot. The 22-year-old, who is also capable of playing in midfield, featured in 22 ISL matches this season, including three off the bench.

"I am very happy to extend my contract here. The love from the club and the fans made me extend my stay here," said Singh after signing his new contract.
"I think it's very positive for the club to ensure the continuity of a player like Thoiba, a young man with a bright future and a great present," coach Sergio Lobera opined on Thoiba Singh's extension.
Under Sergio Lobera, Singh has shown steady growth, improving his ball progression and occasionally contributing in attack. He ended the season with two assists and a goal — performances that earned him a long-term extension.
Since joining Odisha FC in 2020, Singh has played 70 ISL matches and 83 in total across competitions for the Kalinga Warriors.
