The All India Football Federation (AIFF), on Wednesday, unveiled the Indian national football team's new kit for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2019 in UAE. The Blue Tigers' latest stripes pay homage to the passionate Indian football fans, who have stood behind the team through thick and thin over the years.

The big reveal had social media buzzing, as the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) and the clubs expressed their solidarity with the national team in their quest to realize the priceless Asian Dream. The league and the teams changed their social media profile pictures to reflect the iconic Blue Tigers logo symbolizing the national team.

The Hero I-League and the teams, too, joined in to lend their support.

The fans also took to social media to express their excitement about the new jersey and showed their unbridled support for the team.

The Indian team will begin their AFC Asian Cup campaign against Thailand at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on January 6, before playing UAE four days later. Their last group stage encounter against Bahrain is scheduled for January 14.
