The Super Cup 2025 will be played in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from April 21, 2025, the All India Football Federation announced on Wednesday.

The 16-team premier club competition will be played in a knock-out format. Thirteen Indian Super League (ISL) clubs and three I-League clubs will participate in the fifth edition of the tournament.

The winners of the Super Cup 2025 will earn a chance to compete in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) Playoffs, providing an opportunity for Indian clubs to make their mark on the continental stage.

This will be the fifth edition of the Super Cup with ISL teams emerging victorious on all occasions.

Bengaluru FC triumphed in the 2018 edition before FC Goa lifted the cup a year later in 2019 beating Chennaiyin FC in the final. The tournament wasn't held between 2020 and 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic but resumed in 2023. Odisha FC beat Bengaluru FC in the final to win their first-ever trophy before East Bengal FC won the previous edition in 2024.
