Nadong Bhutia (Mumbai City FC) was the hero for home side Royal Wahingdoh, coming on when the Shillong-based side were losing 1-0 to Goan powerhouses Dempo. Bhutia equalised eight minutes later to ensure Royal Wahingdoh kept pace at the top of the league.Another ISL star was responsible for leaders Pune FC’s first loss of the season. Pritam Kotal (FC Pune City) scored the only goal of the game as Mohun Bagan beat the table-toppers and continued their own unbeaten start to the campaign. Kotal had an excellent game all around, and capped his display by heading in the winner from a floated cross.Kotal’s ISL teammate, Dudu Omagbemi, got his first goal of the season, poking home from close range to grab a consolation goal in East Bengal’s 3-1 loss to Salgaocar. Meanwhile, Sandesh Jhingan, the ISL’s Emerging Player of the Tournament, started his first game for Sporting Clube de Goa and helped his side earn an away draw against Mumbai FC.
