Hamed joined the Highlanders prior to the 2023-24 season and made eight appearances in the ISL this season. He made his debut in their 2-1 defeat to Mumbai City FC in the opening match of their campaign.
The 26-year-old is currently representing his nation at the AFC Asian Cup. He has worn the Palestinian kit 26 times thus far, finding the back of the net on five occasions. He was part of the Palestinian squad that suffered a 4-1 loss against Iran in their opening fixture of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
In his stint with the ISL this season, Hamed showcased his prowess by notching up three successful tackles in eight appearances. Despite glimpses of brilliance on the pitch, he also demonstrated defensive strength with three blocks, nine interceptions, and 17 clearances during his tenure in India.
