Odisha FC part ways with three players

Odisha FC announced the departures of Ranawade, Fernandes, and Lalrinzuala.

Ranawade has been a regular starter for the Kalinga Warriors. He was on loan with the Kalinga Warriors for the last two seasons and enjoyed a remarkable stint under the guidance of Sergio Lobera.

The versatile full-back recorded 22 appearances in the 2024–25 season and played an all-around role in both halves. Ranawade won 48 duels and 20 tackles and also completed 49 recoveries while creating 16 chances throughout the campaign.

Ranawade’s partner on the flanks, Lalrinzuala, also bid farewell to the Kalinga Warriors. He joined the club in 2023 from East Bengal FC.

Lalrinzuala was a key player in OFC’s defensive lineup, playing a decisive role with his pinpoint diagonal crosses and leadership skills. He averaged 19 passes per game, created six chances, and registered one assist to his name.

Fernandes’ loan stint at OFC also came to an end following his departure from the club. He joined the Kalinga Warriors on loan from FC Goa at the start of the 2024–25 season.

Known for his relentless work at the heart of the pitch, the midfielder recorded 16 appearances but was limited to only 578 minutes on the field. He averaged 18 passes per game, maintained 82% passing accuracy, and created six chances during the just-ended season.

Thaer Krouma and Jayesh Rane leave Mumbai City FC

Mumbai City FC bade farewell to two senior footballers, Rane and Krouma.

Krouma joined the Islanders in 2024 and was part of their ISL Cup-winning squad in his debut season. The Syria national team player featured in 18 ISL games in the 2024–25 season and has been a defensive stalwart for Petr Kratky’s men.

Krouma was a leader at the back, winning 28 duels and eight tackles, attempting 13 interceptions and five blocks, and completing 62 recoveries. He also showcased his impact on set-piece movements and scored two goals; in both cases, the Islanders remained unbeaten in the 2024–25 season.

Rane joined MCFC on a free transfer from BFC in 2024. The midfielder was also part of the Islanders’ camp during his loan stint in the 2023–24 season.

Rane recorded 21 appearances in the recently concluded campaign and clocked 882 minutes on the pitch. He played a crucial role in midfield, averaging 15 passes per game, creating 14 chances, and winning 52 duels.

Jorge Pereyra Diaz bids adieu to Bengaluru FC

Dynamic forward Jorge Pereyra Diaz parted ways with Bengaluru FC after one season.

The Argentine sensation joined the Blues ahead of the 2024–25 season following a successful stint with MCFC. Despite missing a couple of games due to injury, Diaz made a solid impact every time he stepped onto the field.

Diaz averaged 0.17 goals per game, maintained a 15% goal conversion rate, and racked up seven goal contributions in his debut season with BFC. He created 23 chances and completed 11 successful dribbles.
