Atlético de Kolkata head coach Jose Molina is not too bothered about his team’s slow start to the 2016 Hero Indian Super League. ATK, winners in 2014 and semi-finalists in 2015, so far have six points from four matches thanks to one win and three draws, and they host Delhi Dynamos FC at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium on Saturday. Add to that the fact they have never beaten the Lions before and things start looking ominous for ATK, but Molina believes it’s too early to jump to any conclusion as regards his team’s slow start.“Now we have six points and NorthEast is at the top of the table with ten points and tomorrow if we can win, we have nine with one game in hand, which is good, and I don’t worry about the position right now and the only thing in my mind now is to do good tomorrow and get the three points,” the Spaniard told reporters on Friday.“I would like to win of course, I would prefer to win and I think we are playing good football and I think we can improve, and of course we want to improve. We want to play better and we are trying to do it and I think we deserved some more victories and points but we have only six so we keep working and there are still ten matches to go and many more points to win, and right now on our mind it’s not the past or the future, it’s tomorrow’s match.”Out of four matches between these two sides, three have ended in a draw and Delhi got the better of ATK 1-0 when they travelled to Kolkata last year. This year, both teams are sailing in the same boat as Delhi too have registered one win and three draws from their four matches. Commenting on the Lions, Molina said: “I think the Delhi team started really well in the league and they have not lost yet and I think we are similar teams in the league and we will fight tomorrow, and I have confidence in my team. Delhi also have a good team with a strong defence and I think it will be tough tomorrow.”Molina also informed that marquee player Helder Postiga will continue to be unavailable due to injury but Tiri and Nato could start tomorrow. “Yes, Nato is available for tomorrow and yes Tiri is also available and I think we can have a good eleven for tomorrow’s game and of course there will be a change as Stephen Pearson [red-carded] will not play.“Postiga is still injured so he is not available but he is much better and we are happy [with his recovery]… I am hoping Postiga will be available against NorthEast [on October 28], so we will see.”
