Mohun Bagan SG's Dimitri Petratos named Player of the Month for March 2024
Besides winning the Player of the Month accolade, the Mohun Bagan SG forward also bagged the Matchweek 21 FGOTW award on Monday.
Dimitrios Petratos of Mohun Bagan Super Giant has clinched the Indian Super League (ISL) Player of the Month award for March 2024, it was announced on Monday. Petratos played a pivotal role for his team, netting three goals and providing two assists across four games for the Mariners in the month of March.

The selection process for this award involves a split between fan and expert voting. Fans' votes account for 50% of the total, with experts determining the remaining 50%. The voting took place from April 7th to April 11th.
The nominees included Petratos, along with his Mohun Bagan SG teammates Manvir Singh and Jason Cummings, as well as players from other clubs such as FC Goa's Noah Sadaoui, Mumbai City FC's Vikram Partap Singh, and Punjab FC's Madih Talal and Jordan Gil.
Petratos secured a commanding 55% of the fan votes, with Sadaoui trailing behind at 23%. Talal came in third with 10%, followed by Vikram Partap Singh (6%), Manvir Singh (3%), Jason Cummings (2%), and Wilmar Jordan (1%).
However, in the expert voting, Petratos only garnered three out of ten votes, while Vikram Partap Singh received six votes, and Madih Talal received the remaining vote.
After combining both sets of votes, Petratos emerged as the winner with 43%, followed closely by teammate Manvir Singh at 33%. Vikram Partap Singh secured third place with 12%, while Talal and Sadaoui both received 10%.
Besides securing the Player of the Month award, Petratos also bagged the Fans' Goal of the Week award for Matchweek 21, for his fine strike against Punjab FC.
