The 31-year-old goalkeeper made six appearances between the posts for Hyderabad in Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2019-20 and was delighted after extending his stay with the club.
“I’m really happy to extend my stay at Hyderabad FC. I am very grateful for the faith shown in me by the management. I think towards the end of the last season, we showed a lot of improvement as a team. There was a change in approach and I hope that we can build on that in the upcoming season. The fans have been great in our debut season, and I hope they will keep supporting us,” said Kattimani after extending his contract.
One of the most experienced goalkeepers in the Hero ISL, Kattimani was part of the FC Goa squad since the inaugural season of Hero ISL in 2014 and played a key role in the Gaurs' run to the final in Hero ISL 2015.
