Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC will clash in the second leg of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) semi-final at the PJN stadium in Margao, Goa as both clubs eye a place in the showpiece event on Sunday.

Ivan Vukomanovic’s Blasters have a 1-0 lead going into the second leg thanks to a Sahal Abdul Samad strike that proved to be the difference between the two teams.

First semi-final, second-leg preview: Kerala Blasters FC carry slim edge in blockbuster clash against dangerous Jamshedpur FC

However, it’s all to play for and Jamshedpur FC who won the League Winners’ Shield after winning the final seven matches of their season will be looking to bounce back.

Backed by numerous fans, Kerala Blasters FC would be willing to make a first appearance in a final since 2016.

Ahead of the decisive second leg, the Hero ISL experts put their heads on the line and dish out their bold predictions.

John Gregory’s prediction

Kerala Blasters FC 3-2 Jamshedpur FC (4-2 on aggregate)

I think Kerala Blasters FC will score first but Jamshedpur FC are very resilient and will fight to the very final seconds of the game. They will have to chase the game which will make them vulnerable defensively. Kerala Blasters FC have the ability to expose them in the second half and that’s why I expect them to win on the night and progress on aggregate too.

Erik Paartalu’s prediction

Kerala Blasters FC 1-1 Jamshedpur FC (2-1 on aggregate)

After what we witnessed in the last game, I think Kerala Blasters FC have the slight edge on this one. Jamshedpur FC are very light in the wide areas in terms of fit personnel so I think that may be the deciding factor in this one.

Kerala Blasters FC possess a very strong record at Tilak Maidan stadium as do Jamshedpur FC but I think Kerala Blasters FC will feel a little more comfortable being at 'home' and I think they will do just enough to get through to the final.

Paul Masefield’s prediction

Kerala Blasters FC 1-3 Jamshedpur FC (2-3 on aggregate)

I think it’s going to be a very interesting game. Obviously, Kerala Blasters FC have that one-goal lead but Jamshedpur FC after that high of winning the Shield, needed to be knocked down and needed a result like that to kick start them again. I think they are going to have a little bit too much and they will be a little bit too strong for Kerala Blasters FC. That’s why second legs are so important.

I think Jamshedpur FC still have the quality in there and I can see it being something like a 3-1 win for Jamshedpur FC possibly after extra time. It’s going to be really tight between these two but I am going to go with Jamshedpur FC to win and go through.
