Kerala Blasters FC, Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United FC will be in action in the Kalinga Super Cup on Monday as Group B could move closer to a conclusion.

Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC meet with both teams having a win each under their belt and knowing another three points could go a long way in securing qualification to the next round.

As for NorthEast United FC and Shillong Lajong, a defeat would spell the end of their respective campaigns.

NorthEast United FC vs Shillong Lajong, 2 PM IST

The Highlanders who went down to Jamshedpur FC in their first match will take on Shillong Lajong in a fierce northeastern battle in the Kalinga Super Cup.

A win will keep their respective hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals alive and NorthEast United FC who reached the last four of the Super Cup and the Durand Cup would be keen to extend that record and would need to be at their very best in the next two matches.

Juan Pedro Benali’s team have suffered a dip in form after a strong start to the ISL season and are winless in their last seven matches in the league. Their form spilt over into the Super Cup as they lost a lead to lose to Jamshedpur FC in the opening match.

The Spaniard will have to quickly arrest this slide to ensure his team continues in the competition.

As for Lajong, they too will be aiming to bounce back from a 3-1 loss against the Blasters and keep their hopes alive while also getting one over their local foes.

The Shillong outfit is enjoying a good season in the I-League with the team sitting in fifth place with 19 points in 11 matches.

The match will be streamed LIVE on Jio Cinema.

Kerala Blasters FC vs Jamshedpur FC, 7:30 PM IST

Kerala Blasters FC will be looking to inch closer to their first-ever semi-final in the Super Cup as they take on Jamshedpur FC who reached the last four in the competition last season.

The Blasters beat Shillong Lajong 3-1 in their first match of the Kalinga Super Cup while the Men of Steel recorded a comeback win over the Highlanders.

With confidence high in both camps, expect an intense contest when the two ISL sides meet on Monday. The previous meeting between the two teams was a close affair with Kerala Blasters FC edging past Jamshedpur FC in a 1-0 win in Kochi earlier in the ISL this season.

Kwame Peprah scored a brace for the Blasters in the last match and Ivan Vukomanovic’s team will rely on him and forward Dimitri Diamantakos to lead their charge against a Jamshedpur FC side that could be experiencing a new manager bounce after the arrival of Khalid Jamil.

Daniel Chima Chukwu has found form for the Men of Steel and he will be a real handful for the Kerala Blasters FC defence.

The match will be streamed LIVE on Jio Cinema.
