Kalinga Super Cup: Chennaiyin FC eye win, Mumbai City FC face off Punjab FC
Mumbai City FC are currently on top of the group with three points while Chennaiyin FC and Punjab FC have a point each.
Group C teams in the Kalinga Super Cup return to action on Tuesday, with Chennaiyin FC taking on Gokulam Kerala FC, while Mumbai City FC and Punjab FC face off later in the day.
In the early kick-off, Chennaiyin FC and Gokulam Kerala FC meet in a must-win game for each side, as defeat or a draw could see them being knocked out from the cup competitions if the result in the other fixture doesn’t go in their favour.
Mumbai City FC will be looking to continue their winning run against Punjab FC and move closer to the semifinals, while the Shers will be aiming to provide tough competition to the Islanders and secure their first win in the Kalinga Super Cup.

Owen Coyle hasn't had the best of starts in his second tenure with Chennaiyin FC. They have managed only one win out of their last eight matches across the league and cup competition.
The ISL side must change the trend against Gokulam Kerala FC. However, they will face a tricky test against the Kerala-based club, which will also be aiming for a win in this match.
The task will be tougher for Coyle’s side as they will be without the services of their star player, Rafael Crivellaro, who received marching orders against Punjab FC.
Gokulam Kerala FC put up a tough fight against the Islanders in the opening match and even took the lead in the first half. However, two goals, including a late penalty goal from Mumbai City FC, spoiled their party.
They will now be hoping for an even stronger performance against Chennaiyin FC to remain in contention for qualification.

Mumbai City FC vs Punjab FC, 7:30 PM IST
Mumbai City FC and Punjab FC will be locking horns in the second match on Tuesday at Kalinga Stadium Main Pitch in Bhubaneswar.
The Islanders are coming off a narrow victory against Gokulam Kerala, with Ayush Chhikara and Nasser El Khayati finding the back of the net. Punjab FC played out a 1-1 draw with Chennaiyin FC in their opening match.
Mumbai City FC aim to continue their upward trajectory under their new head coach, Petr Kratky. A win in this fixture will bring them closer to the semi-final, and the victory could even confirm their qualification if Chennaiyin FC and Gokulam Kerala FC play to a draw in the early fixture.

The Shers, on the other hand, are keen to elevate their performance and secure three points to keep their hopes alive in the competition. They took the early lead through Wilmar Jordan; however, Amarjit Kiyam’s sending-off put them in a disadvantageous position.

Despite going down to 10 men midway through the second half, they put on a spirited performance to thwart Chennaiyin FC’s attacking chances. Jordan Murray then grabbed the equalizer in the dying minutes to deny Punjab FC's second win against Chennaiyin FC this season.
