Jitendra Singh leaves Jamshedpur FC; Rebello, Panwar depart Odisha FC
Singh bids adieu to Jamshedpur FC while two more players join Odisha FC's exit list.
Indian Super League (ISL) side Jamshedpur FC has announced the departure of Indian midfielder Jitendra Singh, the club announced through their social media handles on Sunday.
Singh, who represented India at the U17 FIFA World Cup, joined the Men of Steel in 2019 from Indian Arrows. Primarily operating as a centre-back, Singh transitioned to the role of a defensive midfielder during his time with Jamshedpur FC. He successfully adapted to his new position and was a key player for the team over five seasons.

Singh played a pivotal role in their League Shield-winning season under Owen Coyle during the 2021-22 season, appearing in 19 league matches, his highest in a single season. In total, he made 59 league appearances for Jamshedpur FC and 66 appearances across all competitions.
Odisha FC announce departure of Princeton Rebello and Sahil Panwar
Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Odisha FC bid farewell to two more players on Sunday. Princeton Rebello and Sahil Panwar will be leaving the Kalinga Warriors and embarking on new chapters in the upcoming season.
Rebello joined Odisha FC in the January transfer window last season. The midfielder played a crucial role for the club during their Super Cup triumph last season and continued to impress under new head coach Sergio Lobera this season. The 25-year-old was a regular member of Lobera’s squad, playing a significant role behind the forwards Roy Krishna and Diego Mauricio.

He featured in 20 league matches this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist to help his side reach the ISL semi-finals for the first time. Overall, he made 35 appearances for the Kalinga Warriors across all competitions, with 30 of those coming during the 2023-24 season.
Panwar joined Odisha FC from Hyderabad FC ahead of the 2021-22 season. Panwar, too, made an impact for the side during their Super Cup triumph last season. The left-back was a regular player for the team in his first two seasons before the arrival of Jerry Lalrinzuala in the 2023-24 season. Panwar made 45 appearances for the Kalinga Warriors across all competitions.

In addition to his defensive responsibilities, he showcased his ability to contribute offensively on overlaps. He recorded three assists, all during the 2022-23 season, and scored his only goal for Odisha FC against Maziya S&RC in the AFC Cup this season.
