Jean-Eudes MauriceChennaiyin FC’s latest acquisition Jean-Eudes Maurice trained with the squad for the first time today. The Haitian international arrived in Chennai on Tuesday and was even present at his club’s 5-1 victory over Mumbai City FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium last night.Maurice is of French descent but has represented Haiti on the international stage. The 28-year-old striker played in the French lower division before his performances attracted the attention of mighty Paris-Saint Germain, whom he joined in 2007. Apart from PSG, Maurice has also represented Lens and Le Mans in the French top tier.As a member of the Haitian national team, he has scored 10 goals for the North American nation in only 15 appearances. He also featured at the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup for Haiti.
