FC Goa will play hosts to Jamshedpur FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on Tuesday. The Gaurs have been undefeated in Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2019-20 so far and will be looking to maintain the trend but face a difficult task against Antonio Iriondo's tactically astute Jamshedpur side.

FC Goa

The Gaurs, unsurprisingly, have been scintillating going forward and have already scored 10 goals in four outings so far. The ever-reliable Ferran Corominas has already bagged three goals so far this season and only a brave man will bet against the Spaniard to score more, especially at home.

The midfield duo of Ahmed Jahouh and Lenny Rodrigues has provided Goa with a fabulous platform to launch their attacks from and the likes of Seiminlen Doungel, Brandon Fernandes, Hugo Boumous and Manvir Singh have looked dangerous going forward. The Gaurs will be without Doungel and Boumous for the match, both of whom are suspended for the tie. But with Edu Bedia and Jackichand Singh waiting in the wings, the Gaurs have enough firepower to mitigate the loss. Despite their impressive returns so far, however, the Gaurs still seem to be searching for their top gear - something Sergio Lobera will be hoping to find against Jamshedpur come Tuesday.

The defence has managed just a single clean sheet so far this campaign, but considering Goa's attacking style, it's not a surprising stat. What's to be taken note of is the central defenders - Mourtada Fall and Carlos Pena - have contributed heavily to the offensive side of things with the former proving two assists already from set-pieces and the latter scoring twice himself.

Jamshedpur FC

Having raked up seven points in their opening three matches, Jamshedpur FC faltered in their last outing against ATK, going down 3-1. It was also Antonio Iriondo's first loss in India since taking charge of the team. Jamshedpur will inevitably be looking to bounce back with immediate effect and have already shown they have the firepower up front to worry any team.

Striker Sergio Castel has been a revelation in the league so far and along with Piti and Farukh Choudhary, constitute a dangerous front three which can worry Goa on the break. However, Piti's injury in the match against ATK was one factor which turned the tide of the contest against Jamshedpur and their fans will hope the Spanish maestro is fit enough to take the field against Goa, following the long international break.

The defence, meanwhile, have conceded five times in four matches and the likes of Tiri and Memo will need to put in a much tighter shift to keep a relentless Goa forward line at bay.

Probable line-ups:

FC Goa: Mohammad Nawaz (GK), Carlos Pena, Seriton Fernandes, Mourtada Fall, Mandar Rao Dessai, Lenny Rodrigues, Ahmed Jahouh, Brandon Fernandes, Edu Bedia, Ferran Corominas, Manvir Singh

Jamshedpur FC: Subrata Paul (GK), Tiri, Joyner Lourenco, Memo Moura, Keegan Pereira, Aniket Jadhav, Aitor Monroy, Robin Gurung, Farukh Choudhary, Piti, Sergio Castel
