Reflecting on such a positive season, Kerala Blasters FC head coach Ivan Vukomanovic was perplexed about choosing a singular best moment from the year.

Stating all of his favourite moments from 2023, the Serbian tactician shared, “Very difficult (to choose from). Some good victories in our stadium, a late goal against Odisha FC, Sandeep (Singh), that was a good one. I like that one. Good victory and turnover at home against Odisha FC, again against Bengaluru FC, also, very nice moments. Last game, (against) Mumbai City FC, and also the game we came back from suspension, Odisha FC, as I mentioned. So yeah, there were many good moments in games, especially in our stadium.”

Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah went berserk against Mumbai City FC, contributing a goal and an assist and then topping it off by making the pitch his dance floor.

“I think it was scoring the goal against Mumbai City FC and dancing, and the feeling in the stadium, in the team, yes it’s the best moment for me,” he laughed.

Greek striker Dimitrios Diamantakos became a father in 2023. Alongside a great season on the pitch, the 30-year-old has also reached a pinnacle in his personal life.

Sharing his best moments of the year, he said, “In my life, in 2023, yes, it's becoming a father. But, if I need to share about the team, it’s yesterday’s win (against Mohun Bagan Super Giant).”

Midfielder Danish Farooq claimed his equaliser against NorthEast United FC was the moment from 2023 that we would never forget.

He said, “For me, when I scored in Kaloor Stadium (Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kochi). That was the best moment for me that I will remember for years, for my lifetime.”

Former Mohun Bagan SG and Bengaluru FC wing-back Prabir Das believes his first match for the Blasters was the highlight of 2023.

Addressing his best moment, Das shared, “First match, after Bengaluru FC, and my first Kerala Blasters FC match also, you know, so I really enjoyed our fans, and winning moments, and my dance and a lot of things, you know, best moments.”

“Got married after my 13 years of love life, so that’s the best moment,” stated Kotal.
