Indian Super League (ISL) clubs have kicked off their training sessions in preparation for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Six clubs – Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, East Bengal FC, and Kerala Blasters FC – have already begun their preparations. Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United FC are the latest teams to start their pre-season campaign, while ISL Shield Winners Mohun Bagan Super Giant are set to commence their pre-season campaign on July 29.

New signing Madih Talal joined East Bengal FC training on Tuesday, following Hijazi Maher, who joined late last week. Carles Cuadrat’s side defeated local club Kalighat MS 4-3 in a pre-season friendly at the East Bengal Ground on July 13. Nandhakumar Sekar scored twice, while Souvik Chakrabarti and Academy player Ananthu added one goal each.

Kerala Blasters FC are in full swing during their pre-season tour in Thailand, nearing two weeks of training since starting their camp on July 3. The Blasters played a friendly against Pattaya United on July 10, losing 2-1. Young midfielder Sukham Yoihenba Meitei scored the only goal for Kerala Blasters FC.

Bengaluru FC are also training intensively under head coach Gerard Zaragoza ahead of the Durand Cup 2024. The Blues have significantly strengthened their squad, promoting youngsters Clarence Fernandes, Ashik Adhikari, and Vinith Venkatesh to the First Team for the 2024-25 campaign. Another young duo, Sahil Poonia and Monirul Molla, who were with the India U20 in Goa, joined Bengaluru FC's first-team training on Tuesday.

Jamshedpur FC began their pre-season campaign on Monday, preparing under Khalid Jamil in Jamshedpur.

NorthEast United FC started their pre-season in Guwahati on Monday, with all the foreign players present from day one to prepare for the new season.

Chennaiyin FC have also commenced their pre-season preparations. The Indian players of Chennaiyin FC are currently practising under new assistant coach Noel Wilson. The Marina Machans have already played a friendly match.
