Punjab FC embark on their second Indian Super League (ISL) campaign armed with experience. Despite a slow start in their debut campaign, they delivered a solid performance in the second half of the ISL 2023-24 season, finishing eighth in the standings and coming close to reaching the playoffs.

Punjab FC has undergone an overhaul in both their squad and coaching staff, with former head coach Staikos Vergetis parting ways. The club has also released several players from last season, including notable ones like Wilmar Jordan Gil and Madih Talal. Despite these changes, they will aim to improve on last season's performances, having shown competitive form against some of the best teams.

The Shers will face Kerala Blasters FC in Kochi in their opening ISL game, which will be a significant test for new head coach Panagiotis Dilimperis. Fortunately, their schedule is relatively favourable after their opener, with three of their next four games set to be played at home. They will take on Mohun Bagan Super Giant in their final game this year.
