Kerala Blasters FC enjoyed their most successful spell in the Indian Super League (ISL) under former head coach Ivan Vukomanovic after reaching the playoffs in three successive seasons.
But the Serbian parted ways with the club at the end of last season,allowing Mikael Stahre to take over. It will be a fresh start for Blasters under the new head coach and they have shown glimpses of their firepower in the Durand Cup where they scored 16 goals in the group stage of the competition.
New signing Noah Sadaoui has hit the ground running and old stars like Adrian Luna have continued to perform for the team. It will be interesting to see how the team copes with departures of players like Dimitri Diamantakos, Jeakson Singh, Marko Leskovic, Fedor Cernych and Nishu Kumar.
