Hyderabad FC, the reigning champions of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) extended the contract of three vital players, Mohammad Yasir, Joao Victor, Hitesh Sharma, as they look forward to solidifying their position at the top end of the table in the upcoming seasons too.
Both Joao Victor and Hitesh Sharma extended their stay at the club till 2024 and this move certainly helps Manolo Marquez to go ahead with his future scheme of things. Also, Mohammad Yasir signed a deal which will keep the left-footed midfielder in the city till 2025.
Yasir has played an integral role for the current champions since their inception in 2019. This current season has been very fruitful for the 24-year-old as he has scored three goals and created 37 chances for his teammates, the highest by any player in the team. Being the first Hyderabad FC player who played 50 games for the club, he looks to continue his purple patch in the yellow color.
“I have been a part of Hyderabad FC since its inception and it is great to see how we have grown as a football team. But it is equally important that Hyderabad, as a city, falls in love with this game again and I hope we as a team can make it happen,” said the 24-year-old who extends his contract till 2025.
