Atlético de Kolkata head coach Antonio Lopez Habas is hopeful that his team will overturn a 3-0 deficit against Chennaiyin FC in the second leg of their 2015 Hero Indian Super League semi-final at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday. Kolkata need a four-goal-margin win to directly advance to the final, and to take the match into extra time and then penalty shoot-out (if need be), they will have to have a three-goal lead after full 90 minutes. It also should be noted the ISL doesn’t have the away goal rule in effect. At the pre-match conference on Tuesday, when asked if his team could pull off a miraculous win in Kolkata, Habas replied in the affirmative.“Yes. I’m planning to attack and attack and not let the opponents have the ball,” Habas told reporters. The Spaniard also said the players had moved on from the defeat in the first leg. “We are a professional club with professional players. We want to respect the opponents and the supporters. For us the idea is to win the game. So we want to keep a professional approach.”Habas also defended his team’s not-so-defensive approach in the first leg that saw Bruno Pelissari, Jeje and Stiven Mendoza hit the back of the net for the Super Machans. “The plan in Pune was to win the game. The injury to Borja [Fernandez] was a detriment. In 90 minutes, many things can happen and we have 90 minutes more. And now we have to find ways to win the game,” he said.Borja Fernandez and Nato are set to miss the game on Wednesday due to injury but Habas played down the concern for his team. “It’s not going to be a problem. No excuses. We have 26 players in the squad and we have to play with what we have,” he said.Habas also hoped that the home support will do the trick for the defending champions. “The fans are very important. We need all the support of the fans. And we need it more than ever.”
