Indian Super League (ISL) side Odisha FC announced the contract extension of left-back Saviour Gama. The new deal will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.

The Goan full-back began his footballing journey with FC Bardez before joining the FC Goa developmental squad in the 2017–18 season. His tenacity and defensive discipline quickly caught the attention of the senior coaching staff, earning him a breakthrough into the ISL and the Super Cup. He scored both of his ISL career goals while playing for FC Goa.

Gama joined Odisha FC ahead of the 2024-25 season, bringing experience and consistency to the backline. In his debut campaign with the Kalinga Warriors, he featured in 19 ISL matches, showcasing his reliability and energy on the flanks. He also contributed with one assist against Kerala Blasters FC in Kochi.

Head coach Sergio Lobera shared his thoughts on the extension: “I'm happy with Gama's continued presence at the club. He's a player I've known for years, and when I decided to sign him for OFC, I knew he could help the team.”

Saviour Gama expressed his excitement: “I’m really happy to extend my stay with Odisha FC. This club feels like home now, and I’m grateful for the trust and support from the management, the fans, and my teammates. Working under Coach Sergio Lobera is always a privilege. I’ve grown a lot under his guidance, and I’m looking forward to continuing that growth and contributing to the team’s success in the coming seasons.”
