Gremio's triumph was made even more special by the manner of the win, which saw them overcome arch-rivals Internacional in penalties to clinch the trophy after the two-legged final ended 0-0. The Porto Alegre derby between the two sides, commonly referred to as the Grenal, is considered as one of the fiercest traditional rivalries in South American football.

Moura, now 40-years-old, was a star name in Zico's FC Goa team which made it all the way to the final of the Hero ISL 2015. The versatile Brazilian midfielder was a crowd-favourite at the Fatorda, topping the assists chart for the season with 8 assists, alongside Delhi Dynamos' French talisman Florent Malouda. He also pitched in with two goals.

Moura was a big part of the Gaurs' Brazilian core from 2015, which also constituted the likes of World Cup winner Lucio, Reinaldo and Jonatan Lucca.

After narrowly losing out the Hero ISL 2015 trophy post a heartbreaking 3-2 defeat against Chennaiyin FC in the final, Moura moved on and had stints with Brazilian sides Metropolitano and Santa Cruz before joining Gremio.
