The Durand Cup 2025 quarter-finals will begin on Saturday with four teams in action. Shillong Lajong will host Indian Navy FT at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong in the opening fixture, while defending champions NorthEast United FC take on local side Bodoland FC at the SAI Stadium in Kokrajhar in the evening.

The spotlight will be on the evening game, featuring Indian Super League (ISL) NorthEast United FC, who began their campaign with a 3-1 win over Malaysia’s Armed Forces side, followed by a 2-1 derby victory over Shillong Lajong FC. Juan Pedro Benali rotated his squad for the final group game against Rangdajied United, which ended 2-2. Alaaeddine Ajaraie remains in fine form with five goals and an assist, and the Highlanders will look to carry that momentum as they aim to defend their title.

Bodoland FC go into the quarter-final unbeaten in the group stage, conceding just once, including a 4-0 win against ITBP FT in their final game. Buoyed by local support, they will test NorthEast United FC, who need to be sharp to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

Earlier in the day, Shillong Lajong will host the Indian Navy FT at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong. Lajong finished second in Group E and qualified as one of the two best second-placed teams, while Indian Navy topped Group F and booked their knockout berth with a dramatic late comeback against TRAU in their final group game.

The winners of quarter-final 1 and quarter-final 2 will clash in semi-final 1 on August 19 in Shillong.
