Alessandro Del Piero: will fight till the end.The Delhi Dynamos FC versus FC Pune City clash in the Hero Indian Super League in the national capital tomorrow will be a reunion of sorts for two footballing icons who spent several years together at Juventus in the past – Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet. However, while the legendary Italian playmaker will be trooping out for the local outfit, the ace French striker will be representing the Deccan club. Del Piero is looking forward to the clash against his former colleague tomorrow with anticipation. “Both of us are excited. It will be fun to play against him. Yes, we are opponents and we will be fighting for our teams. But we have played for long together at Juventus and were one of the best strike partners. Now, we will be playing face to face but this is all part of the game," Del Piero said today at a press conference on the eve of the match. Both incidentally are World Cup winners, Del Piero having won the prestigious title in 2006 and Trezeguet in 1998. The 39-year-old player feels that he will be ok on the pitch though he has not seen much of preseason action. “I have been training for the last four weeks and it will be okay tomorrow. I am ready for the game,” Del Piero said, while adding, “I can assure you I will fight till the end for my team." Delhi Dynamos coach Harm van Veldhoven said his team’s practice matches have been good as has the co-ordination and there is also no fitness issue in the team. He also averred that he had no idea about his rivals, and neither they had any idea about his team, as this is an entirely new tournament. The Dutch gaffer also claimed they had no particular plans for tackling Trezeguet's threat tomorrow. “I have no special plans for him. I would rather tell my players to think about the other players, as we know David's style of play but we have no idea about the others," he stated.
