I'm really excited and looking forward to it,” said Chhetri on Mumbai City FC’s official Twitter page after re-signing.India’s all-time top-scorer got off to a good start in the Mumbai Football Arena against Puerto Rico on Saturday while donning his national colours, and will be hoping to do the same in the blue of Mumbai City FC once the new season gets underway. Mumbai fans will be hoping his stunning free-kick that gave India the lead against Puerto Rico will be the first of many to come at the venue.Chhetri became the most expensive Indian player at the auctions last year when Mumbai City FC secured the signature of the four-time AIFF Player of the Year for a whopping Rs 1.2 crore.
