Mumbai City FC assistant coach Oscar Bruzon believes that their Hero Indian Super League Season 2 match against hosts Delhi Dynamos on Friday is very critical to the team’s campaign this season. After Friday’s game at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Mumbai will be forced to release their top performers Sunil Chhetri and Sony Norde to allow them to play for India and Haiti respectively in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. While Chhetri, joint top-scorer this season with six goals, is likely to miss one game, Norde is expected to miss two games and Bruzon understands how important it is for his team to win Friday’s tie.“Tomorrow is a very big game for us. First second leg [Mumbai beat Delhi 2-0 last month]. We want to find the best combination. We have never won an away game. We want to take the three points. We have nothing else in our mind. Tomorrow’s game is very important,” Bruzon told reporters on Thursday.“We will miss him [Sony Norde]. He has been very important to us. One of our best performers. For example, analyse the success of Sunil in terms of conversion, many of his goals came due to Sony.”Mumbai saw their three-match winning streak coming to an end in their last game when they lost to Atlético de Kolkata 4-1 on Sunday at home and Bruzon said they had learnt their lessons from that defeat. “We have identified the mistakes of the last game and we are ready to fight hard and win this game.“We were a little overconfident in the last match. One game is one battle. The next battle is tomorrow. The worry is the next match, nothing else.”Bruzon also expected Delhi to ring in a few changes but said they were ready for all possibilities. “They will make changes in the line-up. I am sure they will do that…We will be ready to take the three points. We are here for three points. We will find the best plan to do that,” he said.
