Bengaluru FC plays their second successive home game as they host Delhi Dynamos FC in the tenth match of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. The Blues come off the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over Mumbai City FC in a match where they hardly allowed their opponents any sniff of goal. The team will look to implicate much of the same formula in their aim of keeping an unblemished win record.
Delhi Dynamos FC also, enters the match at the back of an opening fixture win against FC Pune City, where they got the better of a team having one of the best forward lines in the league. However, they conceded two late goals to end up winning 3-2 and would know that any lapse of concentration against Bengaluru would not go unpunished.

KEY PLAYERS
Eduardo Garcia (Bengaluru FC)
The Spaniard was one of the busiest in attack in the last match against Mumbai. The Islanders have one of the best defence in the league, but the winger constantly kept them on their heels and also scored the Blues’ first Hero ISL goal. He will look to initiate attacks in abundance against Delhi.
Lallianzuala Chhangte (Delhi Dynamos FC)
The youngster had a field day against Pune, as his speedy runs and incisive passing from the flanks cut open their defence on multiple occasions. He came up with a goal and an assist and was probably the most influential player for the Lions that day. He will look to carry his form into Sunday’s fixture.
POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUPS
Bengaluru FC
Bengaluru gaffer Albert Roca would probably prefer a 3-4-3 formation, given he has plenty of options in attack and on the flanks.
Goalkeeper: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu
Defenders: Juanan, John Johnson, Boithang Haokip
Midfielders: Subhasish Bose, Eduardo Garcia, Erik Paartalu, Rahul Bheke
Forwards: Antonio Dovale Rodriguez, Sunil Chhetri, Udanta Singh
Bengaluru head coach Albert Roca on what he expects from the rival team: “I think it will be a tough game. Firstly, because the coach, Miguel Angel Portugal has some huge experience behind him. I saw how organised his team was in just one game, and also the idea that they had behind it. So, we have to be ready for a battle.”
Delhi Dynamos FC
Delhi head coach Miguel Angel Portugal would most likely line his team up in the 4-2-3-1 formation, keeping a balance in attack and defence.
Goalkeeper: Albino Gomes
Defenders: Sena Ralte, Gabriel Cichero, Pratik Chowdhary, Pritam Kotal
Midfielders: Lallianzuala Chhangte, Guyon Fernandez, Paulinho Dias, Matias Mirabaje, Romeo Fernandes
Forwards: Kalu Uche
Delhi’s head coach, Miguel Angel Portugal on his team’s mindset ahead of the game: “Bengaluru is a really good team. They had a winning start to the season, just like us. We're looking forward to facing them. As far as the crowd goes, we like to play football in such an atmosphere.”
