He was replaced by forward Seiminlen Doungel for the last quarter of an hour, after putting in another all-action display for the visitors. He is yet to score in the ISL but is positive that he is improving every day. A hardworking player, Boro has made seven appearances for NorthEast and is one of the fan favourites in Guwahati. Luis García scored a header from a swift counter-attacking move as the hosts finally registered a win after four games, and Boro related how the goal caught NorthEast unawares. “We weren’t prepared for the goal and it just happened suddenly,” said the 27-year-old. NorthEast United host Delhi Dynamos in their next encounter, and will look to bounce back from this defeat which has left them in sixth spot on the table. “We will try to change in the next game and we will try and give it our all and win the match,” said an enthusiastic Boro.
